SAL's Starts

I have just kitted up and started two more SAL's.  (Stitch a Long)
My first is with the group Friendly Stitches.  Its a Quaker Sampler designed and stitched by Mary Wigham in 1790.  Well I am going to attempt to as I have chosen 46ct linen for this, definitely going to need my magnifier.  May have to change to a different linen, will have to see, although so far so good with much help from my magnifier.
The Second is a fantastic Chart designed by Abi Gurden entitled 'Tree of Stitches' I will Stitch A long with the group 'The Stitch Specialists' for this one.  I have chosen a hand dyed green mottled fabric to stitch this piece on.

Tree of Stitches

Mary Wigham

I started stitching this piece over a year ago, it was a gift from my DD for Mothers Day 2010, its entitled Siberian Gold and is very nearly finished, a few more days and it should be done.
